I’m Rebecca Faria, Brazilian and the founder of Detox by Rebecca. With 15 years of experience in lymphatic massage and a Master’s degree in Integrative Wellness, I have dedicated my life to transforming bodies and helping people achieve their wellness goals.
Despite enjoying the incredible sense of well-being that lymphatic drainage promotes, I wanted to take it a step further. I aimed to combine these benefits with aesthetics, and after years of research, I developed a method with new techniques and the perfect pressure to shape the body, a method more effective than any existing holistic treatment!
In 2018, I decided to bring my treatment to the US, but I knew I would have to start from scratch since Brazilian lymphatic massage was unknown. Being in a new culture, without friends, funds to invest in my business, and facing language barriers was challenging. However, gradually, through referrals, my clientele started to grow, and with time and effort, things began to fall into place.
Nowadays, I’m fulfilled by being the person who has brought Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage here and witnessed it becoming well-known not only in Los Angeles but also worldwide, and being featured in renowned magazines makes me thrilled.
